Visit Luminiferous Ether. This is the beautiful egg she made:

PS: I've had trouble with spammers this week, so I put the annoying letter identification apparatus back in place. I hope you leave a comment anyway.

I always love seeing your post and sorry about the spammers! Don't feel bad, I probably get 15-20 spams a day! Lucky wordpress has a great spam filter that helps keep them out.

Dahling, I love it. You just get better and better. You are so good with kids, I bet they loved this. The thing I'm noticing recently is your affection, er, fascination with patterns. BTW, Luminiferous has a great blog. YGG!

So ... were you surreptitiously drawing the whole time when I thought you were working on your egg? I love the drawings, and the photos. It was a fun afternoon/evening.

Did one break? After all that meticulous work, it's heart-breaking to think of it.

Such pretty colors in them.

I can't decide which I like more - your drawings of the eggs or the actual eggs themselves. They are so pretty. The patterns are fabulous. If I had one I'd get a little box made for it so I could keep it forever!

Some of the women in my husband's family have done these eggs, also a friend. I think they are amazing and lovely and your drawings do them justice. It must've been the best fun!

This was cool - I love your drawings of the finished eggs with your friends along with them. The designs are beautiful.

I learned how to do this years ago from an elderly woman and then stopped doing it.

Sorry to hear about the spammers ... keep on posting, we'll keep commenting!
