A haircut done perfectly is so important. Rita does my hair every month and like you I feel like a million bucks at the end of the session.

You look pretty dang glamorous too, if the drawing is any indication.
People like Betsy sure help to lift our morale, don't they?
Enjoyed your series of pictures today.

That rocks! Isn't it amazing how that can turn everything around? Having a good stylist? Funny, I'm seeing mine tomorrow. All the colour drained from my hair, I'm going to try something darker this time I think!

Beautiful Caroline, you're so beautiful.

Nothing like a haircut to perk you up, is there? I love that peppermint conditioner. Makes your scalp zing. I am long overdue for a cut. You have motivated me to visit the hairdresser this week. Sadly, I don't have a Betsy, but I do have a Monica.

Dahlink,
I like your use of color as a storytelling agent in this one. Your hair looks fabulous.

Hi, Crayons. Thanks for visiting my blog and for your comments.

"Dang" this is an enjoyable post! ;-D My stylist is John. He's my "Betsy."

I'll be watching. Thanks for sharing.

I loved the first frame with the "fly-away" hair and the look on your face. You don't need glamour to be special, Caroline, but I'll bet it feels special.
(I've become so frugal that I cut my own hair...at my age it just doesn't seem to matter that much!)

you nailed that--I used to get my hair done on a saturday morning but it totally ruined my productivity for the whole day--who wants to put on play clothes and mow the lawn when you look and smell so good? P.S., I bought some of that peppermint conditioner.

Wonderful! I am becoming addicted to your very enjoyable and amazing posts. And after I publish this I think I had better take a look in the mirror and maybe consider having a day likes yours was.

What a totally cool blog! I love it! I got homesick when I saw your dog's dish. That's what ours said - Oh, how long ago and far away..... s...i...g...h... I am not sure on what level I enjoyed your blog the most - I taught art for 38 years, and I really love your style, how you put this together. So refreshing! Thanks! You brightened up my day!

I loved the drawing of you driving in the cute green car. Every woman should have a Betsy in their lives. You look stunning!

Argh! Blogger ate my comment! *sigh*
Ironically, I just donated 12" of my hair to Locks of Love this past weekend. It was my 1st cut in 22 months.
Glad you feel glamorous & that you have a good stylist. That can mean SO much!
I don't treat myself to much pampering, but I DO love getting my hair washed.

I cut my own hair but sometimes I wish I had someone to do it for me. My sister went and had her hair cut getting ready for a new guy she met. The people there helped to take a photo of her to send over her phone and also helped her to text him. Now, that's service!

As always, I loved your drawings and story.

It's Rainy Shoes from Potato Prints! Yay, I didn't know you had a new blog. I found you on Melba's blog. You have come a long way. This is a great story here. I love the last shot of you in glamorous clothes.

And yes...you are looking pretty dang glamourous...:)

I'm thinking now I could use a little visit to the stylist...I could use a little glamourizing too.
