Eep! Sorry about the glasses. Glad Marco's still your friend. :)

Marco was just way too happy to see you ... ouch, your poor glasses. The drawing of your glasses sproinging off your face was wonderful.

I'm glad you still like Marco -- it's hard not to forgive an over-enthusiastic dog.

Dogs always seem to forget the no jumping rule! Sorry to hear about your glasses! Ugg! Glad you two are friends again!

This is a really fun story with boards. You've got the dog down really well. Good use of colore.

I'm glad you didn't hold it against Marco. He was just being authentic. :)

I love your story. And who could not love Marco! You did a great job with the dog. I'd love to scratch him behind the ears.

To a nearsighted person like me, being without my glasses makes the whole world look and feel soft and fuzzy. I don't know if it's good for an artist like you, but sometimes the view is better. I'm glad you and Marco are still friends.

Oh you make me laugh! I have been there so many times. I have to wear glasses to find my glasses once I put them down. My favorite pair had a very similar unhappy ending. If they just weren't so expensive! I love Marco.

How wonderful to have a dog around who loves you so. It is a shame about the glasses, though. The new pair of glasses are extremely fetching, by the way!

Yikes! This brings to mind the time your cat knocked your glasses out the window. Good thing you had a backup pair!

You mean you have a habit of getting your glasses knocked off by animals? Hiking with you could be quite the adventure!! Let's go.

Hah!
Pam, you remember the mishap with Tarzan. TR, yes that is a kind of habit. We're bound to go hiking soon.

Caroline, I love your illustrations, and how you make seemingly mundane experiences magical!

Ha, Pam. I was also thinking of the story of Tarzan and the other glasses. It's so classic ... looking for the glasses and -CRUNCH-. Dogs are so great, I'm glad you have one in your life Caroline!

I like the way the broken glasses are blurry, which is what my glasses look like when I look at them without my glasses.

Aw, Marco, how could you!

But maybe it's a good excuse for new glasses?
I need some, and I'm looking forward to my new look--as well as my new looking ability!

You remind me of Velma Dinkley!

It's hard to get mad at our animal friends, even when they cost us $$$. Besides, they always forgive us for stuff... like taking them to the vet, giving them medication, and not putting out an all-you-can-eat buffet.

A small price to pay for that kind of devotion! Your illustrations are wonderful.
