Postcards

I am going to sell postcards on this blog pretty soon. Notecards are far too expensive. If you have a moment, please scroll through these and name your top 3 (or more). Your votes will help me decide which 5 to start selling. Voters have absolutely no obligation to buy!

I am still editing some of these images. They will be clean when I go to press.

Thank you. Have fun!

I think "I made it down the hill," and the hourglass are the most postcardy images.

Add 40 years and authenticity.

I also like those already mentioned, but I like the wine store scene, as well. Good luck!

The snowy "Holidays" scene and the wine shop are the most richly gorgeous. The turkeys and the hourglass the most quirky and chime with my sense of humour. The "Made it down the hill" would be very appealing for the postcard purchaser.

Good luck with your venture!!!!

Yep, I like them all. I think I like the wine bottle drawing the best. Whatever you decide to print, I will buy several copies and I want at least one signed. You are going to be famous (there is no doubt about that) and I want your autograph right from the get-go! :)

Seriously.

I vote for the turkeys, the wine store, and the falling down the hill ones.

The giraffe
The orange
The thrown away things

Looking forward to see, what you will offer us!

The wine store one is my favourite. I think the giraffe one is next for me, and then the view of the city.

I love them all, but you asked for my top 3. Here they are...the Wine Store for it's details...I Made It Down The Hill for it's humor...and the Snow Scene for the traquility of the moment!

Hard choices - keep changing my mind - but..40 years, wine store, and down the hill, (I think it's my age)

I'm with Kimberlee. So hard to choose, and I want them all. The hour glass, the city, the tumble down the hill, the liquor store... - the orange for my grandson - oh, I can't stop there!
I wish you great success with this, and whatever you decide to do in the future, Caroline.

Okay, this is tough, but my 3 faves are the guy in the liquor store, the swimming pool, and the "what have we built..." one. Though they are all magnificent.

Runners up for me were the giraffe picniking, and the Michigan Ave one!

I love orange, I made it down the hill and the Christmas card scene in number one. And I am waiting to place an order. Mark

This is too difficult! They are all beautiful. O.k., I love the swimming pool one where the lifeguard says "Walk!"...it made me chuckle just to remember that's EXACTLY what you can always hear at the public pool in the summer. Your observations and art continue to amaze me!

Down the hill, authenticity and the hourglass

I like all of these (particularly the wine shop) but urge you to take another hard look at some of the fabulous images in your past posts. With different captions, they would make excellent, artistic, but very saleable postcards. To name just a few, in Mindful Play, the last picture of you, dancing with your dish towel is, is charming. In My Pencil, the fourth picture, of the woman contemplating the huge and gorgeous Chihuly "chandelier" speaks to the wonders we all meet in our lives. In Little Sister, the picture of the sisters contemplating the sunset is lovely and heart-warming. In I Sketch and Doodle To Keep My Hand Loose, I loved the playfulness of the crowned and jeweled "monarch" eating what looks like a great slice of chocolate cake! All of these are serious art, but could also be well-presented in a postcard format, with the right captions. And actually many of them speak for themselves, and need no caption at all. I hope you choose your most beautiful images. Success to the venture!!

I'll get some, too, and one signed one, please and thank you! Wishing you great success.

The women walking through the snow, the wine bottles and the Chicago scene. If I had to vote for one more, yourself in the hour glass! Great pictures!

The hourglass image reflects exactly what I am feeling these days! Good thing you already made your choice, I would have nominated them all. ;-)

Sometime e-mail suffices (Mail) would also be a nice postcard. ;-)
