I'm totally surprised but I'm sure your creativity and ability for story telling will find new form and content.Do let us know when that happens.Good luck and stay well.
We all need time to recharge. Perhaps your crayons will beckon you once again, and new ideas will flow. What you do (and what you are able to do) is truly remarkable. I'm hoping that you will do us all the pleasure of sharing your art again at some point in the future.
Always your friend in the blogosphere (and I hope someday outside of it--in the brick, morter, and crayon world),
thank you for all the delight you have given us. Your creativity will be emerging in new ways I am sure. May the road rise up to meet you and the wind be at your back.
Why don't you just give it a break?! I bet it's not the end. Life is telling so many stories and you have got the talent to tell them in your drawings- don't give up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7aaynDhaVc
thank you for sharing and making me smile: for your encouraging comments on my blog and others: when you find your new direction ~ come back and tell us: wishing you love and luck: ❤☯
OH,NO!! Say it isn't so....... Life always brings a new story, every day!!And there is always a new color crayon, waiting in the wings!!! After you float back from that deserted isle, the stories will just start coming!!! I won't remove you from my blog list, in the hopes that you WILL be back!!!! :>) So, sit back, recharge, and come back!!!
Caroline, there is no way in the world you are out of stories to tell (and to beautifully draw). I'm afraid to think what implosions and teeth-rattling explosions and tragic fireworks are set off when a creative person suppresses or denies a fine talent.
There's a Biblical saying, "I will not go except you bless me". I always think this is backward. You bless your talent by letting it stay and training it up to dazzling health.
What a huge treasure you have created. I will really miss seeing you here, and all the nice people that write comments. I hope you will come back some day.
How I am going to miss this this delightful resting spot in my online travels. Each visit has left my spirit sweetly refreshed. May wondrous stories fill your heart, and good fortune always bless your trail.
You are the only blog that I have on my Bookmarks Bar - would turn to you for some cheer. I'm sure that you put much time and effort into your creations - just know that you will be missed. Maria
oh dear...i just discovered you and totally love your cartoons and illustrations not to mention your stories. When i feel like i have no stories left i take a week or two off and then usually come back recharged. I hope you come back.....but take time to recharge yourself.
YOur stories and illustrations have been delightful! I like how you analysed your progress in both! I'm sure your creativitiy will continue to take you in many new directions!
With all this encouragement I'm sure you will be back. You must have stories from Setauket & Raynham Hall! Ghosts? Ghost writing? etc. Guess who's been enjoying your blog!
Caroline, the snowdrops in my back yard are up in all their hardy beauty. All the geranium pots are foaming with green shoots again, and one has some major buds. The hibiscus which was wintering safely in my dark basement has just astonished us with royal red blossoms appearing out of the winter trance. I'm sure the metaphor is plain, and I don't have to draw you a picture! :^)

Hi Caroline, I know I am a bit of a newbie to your blog (having only recently found it), but I am going to miss your wonderful, witty drawings.
Hope you come back soon with more of your stories for us all.

I will miss new stuff in my reader, but I will keep looking at the old. (Please, don't delete!)

The world just got a little sadder today. I hope you come back some day to again thrill us with your art!
You're not ending this. Each day is a story for all of us. You'll come through, believe me! Never say never!! Good luck :)

Say it isn't so! Pretty please with sugar on top! You can't go anywhere because I have you bookmarked, you see.
I'll get you started on a story ...
Once upon a time ... (and you take it from there, okay?)
Will your postcards still be available or have I missed the boat?
Hugs!
I'm so sorry you have stopped your blog. I just found you today!
Best wishes with your new ventures, Caroline.
