Community

Here it is April 2008, two years later. Our connections keep me inspired and hold me to high standards. I revel in illustrating during the week so that I can post on Sunday. I am having so much fun this year!

Let's keep encouraging one another in our growth as writers, knitters, photographers, birders, musicians, cooks, illutrators, film critics, enlightenment seekers, painters, gardners, readers, and peace makers.

Caroline,

You have managed to put in words and pictures a sentiment I think we all feel. The give and take in this blogworld is mutual, fulfilling and at times rapturous.

Thank you for the unending beauty and grace you bring here.

I am truly honored that you included me.
You are absolutely correct in what you are saying. We all need one another. Before I started blogging I was pretty much an old lady, sitting around wondering why I was still here. Once I started, I found new friends, encouragement, and even the idea that maybe there was still a reason for my being here. I have been inspired by others to see if there isn't something I might do to justify my existence.
Your work is beautiful, imaginative and exciting. Keep it up.

This is such a wonderful post. I think we all feel that way on some level. Your work is really wonderful and demonstrates your talent and terrific sense of humor and attitude about life. I'm so glad I found your blog. Thank you for including me, too. :) Have fun on your blogging break.

It made me happy to find myself in your collection of inter-beings! My blog is also just two years old and I'm amazed at how the experience and the bloggers I've come to know have suddenly and unexpectedly become a new and important part of my life. I'll make a point of visiting all the blogs on your list, feeling confident that my life will be richer for it.

I feel the same way about our blog world. An exchange of ideas, feelings and lives. Not to mention good friends who inspire and sustain.

It has been wonderful getting to know you, Caroline. It's not just your drawing talent that has improved since 2006...you have grown too and I'm so glad to see that your life is on an up swing. You have always been one of my favorite blogs and I was so happy to see you come back after an extended leave. (New blog title, same person but even more talented than ever!)

Dahlink,
Community is what this life is all about. It's lovely of you to cite all of your readers. I love what Bobbie said! I forgive you if you left my name off, which I think you did. Je ne regrette rien.

Oh, Crayons!
So true how we're all interconnected.
You've created such an open and honest forum here--where all are welcome and accepted.
It's that genuineness that comes through in your wonderful images and stories that rewards us for participating in the world of blogging--so much richer than the passing reactions we get from so many face-to-face!
It seems many have the April task to look back and take stock!

I have often wondered the same thing! Your artwork and stories flow so smoothly - a creation that would take the average person weeks to offer here.

I'm in awe of your talent. Please keep the spirit!

And I agree, our communities enrich and feed us. A wonderful, sharing, giving place this blogworld is...
