At lunchtime a cube neighbor and I went out to walk in the woods nearby. We walked over logs and under branches. We heard snow and silence and a cardinal. Both of my boots got filled with snow. My wool jacket got pretty wet. But it was exhilerating.
The drive home was objectionable and harrowing. I warmed up and wound down with a candle-lit bath. Click on the drawing for better detail.

Snow can be tricky and glad to see you are now able to relax! Love seeing you drawing again!
You're not from western NY, by any chance, are you? The dreaded snow belt (that I recall regretfully from my years on the CND side)?
Hubba hubba, now I can say I've seen you in the bath. :)
j'adore ton blog, ton humour !! merci pour ta visite. Surtout, je vais faire des recherche sur le film que je n'ai pas vu !
Monkey. Your post about balls inspired me. Hah. Tee-hee.
I mean about GOLF balls.
Yes, the photo (wordless wednesday)is from San Miguel Allende, good eye. I am killing time just down the road from you with my 5 hour layover at ORD. I have I told you lately how much I love your work!!! Do you sell your work? Do you take commissions?
I really enjoyed these comments. Thank you for stopping in.
TR - you are such a positive person! I will answer your question via e-mail.
I'm glad you got a chance to enjoy the snow, rather than experiencing it solely as an inconvenience, as most people seem to. Getting out in the woods during a snow storm is one of the great experiences in life.
I love your bathtub! They don't make apartments like yours anymore. Do you know I used to fantasize about living in those apartments?
The other ones I always liked were a couple of blocks away on Oakland and Mound. My brother once tricked me into helping him on his paper route by telling me that the apartment building had elevators that went both up and down AND sidways.

That's a fun memory. I fell for the bathroom here right away. It's those yellow tiles.
